Exam Boards

Here are links to the examination boards' websites where you can see and download copies of specifications and also past papers.

A given school will normally use different exam boards for different subjects. In 2017 Bromsgrove North High School for example took maths GCSE with Edexcel, maths A'level with AQA and the GCSE sciences with OCR. A year later the exam board for GCSE science had changed to AQA.

Past Papers

The exam board sites all contain past papers for the courses they offer. Unfortunately the curriculum has been revised recently for all GCSEs and the process is now underway for the'A' Levels. This means that papers from past A'level syllabuses are of less use than they were. A useful site which hold links to a large number of past papers, specimen papers and various papers created by publishers is Maths and Physics tutor which apart from holding papers fo maths and physics also hold papers for chemistry and biology.
