Lessons are usually one hour long, though longer lessons can be arranged, depending on my commitments.
The first lesson with every student is spent getting to know what kind of help he or she needs. At the end of this lesson, if the student and parent wish to continue lessons, we will arrange a regular time-slot each week during term-time.
I require payment at the end of each lesson by cash or cheque. If you wish to do a bank transfer into my account, I ask that this be done by the end of the same day.
Lessons during school-holidays can be arranged on an individual basis.
Cancellation:- If you wish to cancel a lesson, please give me as much notice as possible, so that I can offer the slot to someone else. If you give less than 48 hours notice of cancellation, I may ask for payment, except in the case of sickness.
Parents sometimes ask whether I can do lessons every fortnight, rather than every week. Unfortunately I do not find this economic and it is also of only limited benefit to the student.
